In addition to producing our joint event with Inc. Magazine that will take place this Wednesday through Friday in Denver, Winning Workplaces has joined with Chicago area business institutions including DePaul University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University to co-host the 2010 Great Lakes Entrepreneur Bash on November 16.

What's to celebrate, you ask?  Actually there are two things:

• In part, the event celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week.
• Mainly, it will mark the launch of Robert Jordan's new book, How They Did It: Billion Dollar Insights from the Heart of America.  The author will moderate a panel discussion featuring 8 of the 45 successful, midwest-based company founders he profiles in the book.
